Hello from Yorkshire!
It's been an incredibly busy time for me these past few months and that's not going to stop anytime soon. I have some very exciting news to share with you. Firstly, my first YouTube photography video is now available. Join me as I introduce you to the unique landscape and habitat of Dungeness, Britain's only designated desert! I'll discuss the photographs I made here and how I expect the project could develop over time. I really hope you enjoy this little video and I would welcome any feedback moving forward. If you like it, please do share in your networks. See the link below...
Secondly, it's with great pleasure that I can share that my project 'Beyond the Cairn' will be featured in Black + White Photography magazine, my favourite photography publication. Furthermore, I'll be writing a series of articles for the magazine. I'll share the exact dates of these issues as soon as I know.
And lastly, for my next trip to Japan I'll be partnering with ALPA cameras. ALPA make the most beautiful 'technical cameras' which I have used in the past. I can't say how excited and honoured I am by this collaboration.
I'm heading back up to the Cairngorms next week to continue working on 'Beyond the Cairn'.
Hopefully by then I will have some relief from this stifling heat that we're currently experiencing. Keep safe all!
Best wishes,
Karl.
