Saltwick Bay & Whitby - 1 Day Coastal Visions Workshop 2nd March 2026.

All of the locations in my workshop itinerary have a special place in my heart, but also I believe each to be a bucket list destination for any photographer. Saltwick Bay on the North Yorkshire coast is full of photographic potential. From the rugged coastal outcrops, ancient geology in the rocks which makes for intriguing abstract images to the obvious effects of humans over the years. Saltwick Bay has something for everyone. The day begins in Saltwick Bay before moving on to Whitby mid-afternoon to capture some of the iconic locations around the pier. It can be particularly wild in March but this makes it perfect for moody seascapes. Wrap up warm!

This workshop will take place on the 02/03/2026 (8:45am - 3:00pm) and will be limited to 5 participants so you get plenty of tuition throughout the day. Fitness level - easy. Gentle strolling along a beach and footpaths. Cost £85 per person - 5 PLACES AVAILABLE.
