A regular speaker and friend of the UK Photography Show, Karl is offering three talks to clubs, groups and societies covering the subjects below. Karl can also create a bespoke talk to meet your requirements - please get in touch to discuss this further.
Coastal Visions
An exploration of the UK's coastline, Karl will take you from Cornwall through to the most Northerly stretch of coastline at Unst in the Shetland Isles. This talk wonderfully showcases our varied and dramatic seascapes.
Evocative Landscapes
Karl will talk you through his thought processes and approach to evoking mood and atmosphere in your photography. His experience in workshops has taught him that this is one of the major things that people wish to develop.
Photography as Adventure
At the root of Karl's photography is a sense of adventure. This doesn't mean that you have to climb the highest mountain, although one of the anecdotes includes summiting the highest mountain in the Faroes by mistake! Simply looking around the corner or in a new direction can improve your imagery.
