Artist Coffee Break

A space for the quiet corners...

The creative life, especially one lived rurally, is a beautiful thing. I wouldn’t trade the stillness of the coast or the solitude of the studio for anything. Whilst my own work thrives in the quiet spaces, the solitary artist sometimes needs a voice - a space to share whatever it is that fuels their fire. Or perhaps the frustration of simply keeping afloat in a somewhat disjointed, almost abstract career.

Instagram used to be a great place for networking, perhaps 10 years ago. I met so many people that way. It has, inevitably, become a crowded marketplace, and the organic chats we used to enjoy have largely disappeared. I’m starting these virtual Coffee Breaks to reclaim that. No webinars, no agendas, and no "how-to" sessions - just a small, informal gathering of professional creatives who understand the unique rhythm of making a living this way.

I know I'm not the only that feels this way. Whether you’re a photographer, a painter, a musician or a writer, if you spend most of your days in a solitary practice and miss the spark of a peer-to-peer conversation, I’d love for you to join me.

How it works:

  • Small Groups: I’m keeping these to 6–8 people per meeting, to ensure everyone actually gets to talk.

  • Global, yet Local: We’ll rotate times to accommodate as many time zones as possible.

  • The Vibe: Low pressure. Just bring a coffee (or tea) and your current perspective.

If you’d like to pull up a chair, please fill out the short form below. I’ll be in touch soon.
