This photograph was taken in one of the many ancient gardens of Kanazawa, Japan.

'Komorebi' literally means light filtering through the leaves. In Japan, it seems they have a description for all such moments of profound tranquility and beauty,

The print is the living presence of any photograph. Printed on Japanese Awagami Washi paper (Premio Unryu), the tactile texture and warm tone breathe life into any room.

Please note, prints are notoriously difficult to photograph! The first slide shows the original photograph in its RAW state for clarity, the further slides are details of the wonderful paper on which it is printed, clearly showing the texture of the fibres. A real object of beauty.

This pigment print comes with its own A4 high quality gift box.

Price includes postage.
