Workshops and other news...

A favourite image from Wastwater, Lake District.

Hi folks,

I hope you are all enjoying the summer?

For me, this summer has mostly involved preparing for a trip to lecture at Musashino Art University, Tokyo, this September, where I'll be delivering a week long workshop plus supporting lectures. To be asked to share my knowledge at the very highest level is such an amazing opportunity and great honour. Having worked on these lectures for some time, I've developed a comprehensive programme, designed to guide students from the ideas stage right through to a completed, coherent project. There's a great diversity in learning along the way, covering the art of composition, use of emotion, camera technique and working with projects. Plus much, much more! It occurred to me that I should offer a similar service to subscribers. Details to follow but I'll be planning to roll out this service next year. If interested feel free to message me.

In the meantime however, I have availability for my Wastwater 1 day creative photography workshop on the 23rd October, and the Dungeness workshop on the 4th December. These are both bucket list locations for any photographer and I'd love to share my excitement for these places with you! To book a place on either of these workshops, see link here.

As always you can take advantage of my discount codes for LEE Filters and Hahnemühle; available here.

That's all for now!

Best wishes

Karl.
