Hi Folks!
I hope this update finds you well in these uncertain days that we are living through.
We are well into 2022 now and we all have to adapt to the new normal; it's become more important than ever to take care of ourselves whilst also looking out for each other.
I can't tell you how pleased I am to be returning to a kind of normal, for me, in that I'll be running my first group workshop since covid hit, this weekend. The forecast isn't what I'd hoped for, but then is it ever!? Whatever the conditions we will have an enjoyable and productive day in the woods.
I wanted to use this blog post to pass on a couple of discount codes for you; some of you may already be aware but for new subscribers I hope they will come in handy.
Firstly, as a LEE Filters Master I am able to pass on the code '10KHOLT' - for use on the LEE Direct store, link here - please note that currently this is valid for UK customers only.
The other code that I have is for Hahnemuhle UK, which is 'KARLHOLTBY15' - link to Hahnemuhle store here - again, for UK use only I'm afraid! I'll be partnering with Hahnemuhle this year on some exciting little projects. It's really nice to be associated with this historic company, particularly as a fine art printer, it's a real honour that they want work with me.
I hope you'll be able to take advantage of these codes which I'm really happy to be able to pass on. Any questions simply send me a msg via the website or social media, whichever is your preferred option.
I'm delighted to share that both my Winter Solitude and Spurn Point Coastal Visions workshops are sold out. I still have availability however for Saltwick Bay (March 20th) and later this year, in autumn, we will be visiting mighty Wastwater in the Lake District. Both of which can be booked here.
I've had a great response to my Winter Solitude photo-boxsets. I've loved putting these together and you can read all about it here, as well as purchase! I was amazed to find that the first boxset sold was destined for Alberta Canada, a true winter wonderland!
Oh, one last thing. Moving forward, all workshop participants will be offered a post processing workshop, via Zoom, at a reduced rate. Normally £45 per hour, workshop participants will be offered a session at £35. I hope this will be really useful, enabling you to get the best out of your images from the day.
I think that's it! The next blog post will be more on where I am with my work creatively. If there's a blog subject you'd like me to cover, just shout!
Stay safe and all that :)
Best wishes
Karl.
