Visiting Professor at Musashino Art University.

I can't quite believe the opportunities that come my way at times but I've been invited to the Musashino Art University, Tokyo, in 2020 (13-19th September) as a Visiting Professor. I can't tell you how thrilled I am and this is quite possibly the most exciting thing that's ever happened in my career. Not only is it a great honour, Japan has long been a dream destination for me. If you've been following my work for any length of time you will know that Japanese art and photography has been a major influence on my own aesthetic. I'm just elated at the thought of visiting and exploring Japan. Additionally I can't wait to run workshops and share my own ideas with students from around the world.

For a day dreaming lad from Hull that couldn't even get his words out on his first workshop for the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust a few years back, I think I can finally say well done to myself, which I never do!

I'd like to thank everybody that has supported me along the way, anybody that follows my story, likes my work or has attended a workshop. It's a genuine heartfelt THANK YOU!

Best wishes,

Karl.
